Choppy music with some SMS roms

Hi.. I would need help on a small problem I have. Trying to play some Master System romson Retropie 4.1 on a Pi 3 , and some of them have problems with their music which gets choppy/buggy (e.g. Addams Family, Alex Kidd in Miracle World...). Tried with all available cores, to no avail.
Has anyone ever encountered this and knows a possible fix ?

@zden Have you tried lowering the audio sample rate in the RetroArch GUI? Do this then restart ES.
