@spagbol Yup, should have looked here 5 minutes ago! Can also confirm no joy! Except for the rather natty bright shiny green bubble wrap envelope mine came in, lots of joy there;))
New image it is then...
-
@Fruitybit Let us know how the new image goes with the Zero W.
Still waiting for the postie to bring mine :)
-
@DigitalMonkey lol!(( what a time to run out of sd cards!! Damn forward planning brain fail.
-
I'm trying it now. It is quite slow (I'm using a 4Gb class 2 card) and it's hanging at:-
[FAILED] "Failed to start apply_noobs_os_config.service"
-
It didn't respond after 6-7 minutes so I killed it.....
-
This is using the 4.1.17 image that Buzz provided by the way. The zip is about half the size of the normal 4.1 zero image, is that to be expected?
-
@BuZz Thanks for those. I'll try them tomorrow and report back.
-
Check out @jacklaidlaw fix here - https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/8629/pi-zero-w-won-t-boot-retropie/4
-
what image should we apply the fix to - Buzz's one or an existing image available on the rp site?
-
@chubsta also could this be done on a Pi 3 as I no longer have access to the older pi zero
-
@thething1979 sorry when I wrote older I meant any other pi that wasn't the one that wouldn't boot.
-
@jacklaidlaw cool, will give it a try in the morning
-
Something may have gone wrong with the image generation - I will check / confirm.
-
They were not correct - I'm uploading new images now.
-
Please try the new images
-
@BuZz - the new 4.1.18 image is working fine now on the Zero W. I haven't tried the Berryboot one. Many thanks for this.
