Pretty much in the title. Which theme are you using with the Kids version?

I've tried a couple (only the included ones) but I'm not seeing many that have the buttons at the bottom of the console view for stuff like favorite and kids.

@Jeck11 If you have a look at the Themes section of the Wiki Docs for the child friendly version it has a link to download the Carbon_v4 theme, which is designed specifically to work with this version of ES.

I've also updated my MetaPixel theme to work with the kid version. I thought I'd done it to Spare and Io too, but apparently not. The modified versions must be sitting on my hard drive somewhere.

I think after you've chosen a theme you then need to go through the controller setup again to make sure you can use the X and Y buttons to set Favourite and Kid-Game.

My ES themes: MetaPixel | Spare | Io | Indent

My flat theme works with ES-Kids, but no icons. I'll have to add them at some point.

Thank you guys. I'll definitely give each a shot.

I also saw in the documentation what it takes to add in the support. I was just curious to hear what other kids/kiosk users were using.

@Jeck11 I had mostly adapted the Carbon and Simple to work with the Kids setup. I found them clean and simple to use.

@pjft seems like it would be pretty easy to update any theme to work with it, correct?

@Jeck11 It was a while ago, so I don't remember enough. As such, I'm not sure I'd go as far as saying "any" theme, but it wasn't particularly hard, no. I suspect it depends on how modularized the theme files are (i.e. if you have to add the icons to each of the system files, it can be a pain, where if it's all centralized in the theme.xml file, then it's fairly easy).

It's critical to update the XML version in the theme xml files, though, otherwise it won't be recognized no matter what you do :)

I'm happy to try and share my versions of the themes, if it helps. Let me know.
