      @daeks My 2 cents:

      Linux/RetroPie based

      • Joystick selection tool: https://github.com/meleu/RetroPie-joystick-selection/
      • "Launching image" generation tool: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/7193/runcommand-launching-images-for-any-theme/
      • RetroPie-Manager (quite useful, but the development is dead): https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/2303/retropie-manager-web-app-recalbox-manager-fork-mod

        We have to include the OP's YARMan Web (former RetroPie WebGUI) + Metadata Editor (BETA)

              @herb_fargus In a new RetroPie repository, or would it be ok for anyone to host them? I'm happy to volunteer for the latter if it meant the tools weren't permanently buried down in the forums.

                @robertybob I don't have a preference. Would be preferable for the creators to host the source themselves with binary releases but short of that if they don't or won't then I don't see any issue with you consolidating them. My main concern is just for the software to disappear because it was hosted on some shady download site

                    @herb_fargus @Rookervik the theme helper link doesn't work any more, do either of you still have it and can upload it again?

                      Only reason there's so much Windows crap is because Windows has a LOT of visual software-creation suites. No programming needed, just plug things in, on-screen, and set some connections in the background and you have a program. Not much of that on Linux or Mac I'm afraid. I can't code, but I can plug stuff in and export an exe :D

                      See if this link works. I can't stand Github. So, sorry if it's annoying finding the file.

                        @Rookervik Thank you so much! It's such a useful tool. I think it would go really well in the ES Toolkit that @mattrixk has put together.
