Hey guys. I have just ran the update all packages on my Pi. And now a lot of my ROMs don't work. Pretty much all of them exit straight out even when I choose another emulator. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you fix it? Have tried searching on Google but cannot find anything that looks like the problem I am having. Many thanks.

You're not giving enough info. Which systems have this problem.

I had a similar problem with Final Burn Alpha, because it updated the default emulator to a new one and my romset was outdated, setting the default back fixed it for me.

Which system? When you post about a problem try to be specific. I think its the MAME games who don't work? You did update the emulator which requires a newer romset. You need to rebuild the romset to the required version for the emulator and it will work.

Please read this article and you'll fix it
