Looking for a log file, maybe you can point me in the right direction

Whenever I leave attractmode or emulation station to go to terminal or shutdown I get this longlist of errors that states"error device not found" or something to that effect. I would like to get to the log file and see what it is referring to and see if it is something that i have misconfigured or need to fix. Thanks
