@WarC0zes thank for your reply, i think i found the problem.

and install again.leave some feedback please.

@Naprosnia
Install again = not works.
Uninstall with uninstall.sh and install again = Not works.weird all works before your new update.
The only change I made since your update, is to steam link installed. -
@WarC0zes i found the problem. im writing a new fix. wait a sec. when done i tell you.
The problem is,sed
cannot add new line to the beginning of a empty file. -
@Naprosnia Ok, I'm waiting for your new update ;-)
-
@WarC0zes you can install now.
-
@Naprosnia it works now, thanks a lot :D
-
@WarC0zes I thank you to.
-
@Naprosnia I found a bug with fade effect when I leave the game, the system volume goes to 73% or 83% instead of staying at 100%. Without fade effect it's good, it stays at 100%.
-
@WarC0zes hello, if you enter a game with 100% volume, when you leave it, the volume go to 73/83?
I'll check that out. -
@Naprosnia Yes, exactly. With fade effect enable.
-
@WarC0zes fixed now. I put an extra option on
RetroPie-BGM-Player / BGM Update
menu, to reinstall everything. So if you need to reinstall it, simply go to update and select reinstall.But for now you need to reinstall again manually.
-
@Naprosnia It's good the volume stays at 100% now. Thanks.

@Naprosnia Hey man, I love your implementation of this. Ultra noob friendly and integrated into the config menu for fine adjustments. I have a small idea/request. I like to display launch art, as well as have the BGM fade effect set. But currently they work independent of each other. Currently: Launch Game > Music Fades > Then launch art is displayed > game starts. I think it would be great if it could work like: Launch Game > Launch Art is displayed AS music is fading > game starts.
I don't know if that's possible but you got a donation coming your way if you can :) Either way, keep up the great work!

That's a gentle deal ;) But you can donate here, too

@cyperghost The donation has been made! :) This forum has been vital for working through issues I've come across. It's folks like yourself the help keep a vibrant community. Thanks!!!
-
@Sibby you can try to add an & just beind the shell script call in runcommand-onstart.sh
I have done the same for the on end call as I introduced this feature here go this thread -
@Sibby Hello, today i will launch a new version with support to music emulation. As you mention, in this version the music fades will art is show.
-
@Naprosnia may I ask which application do you use to play emulated soundtracks? Can you extend to play module files too?
-
@cyperghost hello, check
audacious
application files support. When i release the new version i post the files supported for BGM Player. I know that audacious support some module files, but i need to "unlock" it on bgm player. Google for audacious supported files, if you see some of your interest, tell me and i add its support to bgm player.
Because of the way i implemented the application on bgm, i need to add the file type to the bgm player settings so it can manage to play it. -
Version 2 released. Go to https://github.com/Naprosnia/RetroPie_BGM_Player and check all the new stuff.
Tomorrow i record a new video.
Contributions to the project are always appreciated, so if you would like to support us with a donation you can do so here.
