Hello - something strange happened with my Retropie and I'm not sure the solution. I looked around on here but didn't find another post like this. I was using my system for a few weeks with no problems. I loaded every NES rom on the system and played it fine. One day, I went to boot everything up and only 11 games showed up in the main menu. The weird thing is that these 11 games are the ones I played on my very first night.

I tried rebooting, but that didn't work. I also tried reloading all the games but that didn't work either. I looked on my USB that I used to reload, and all the NES games are still in the /nes folder, so I'm at a loss for what to do.

Here are my answers for the questions in the initial sticky from what I could answer (sorry if I didn't know all of them, I'm new to the Pi):

Pi Model or other hardware: Raspberry Pi Zero
      Power Supply used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A9PO5AM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
      RetroPie Version Used: 4.1
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
      USB Devices connected: USB Gamepad
Controller used: Buffalo Classic USB Gamepad
      Error messages received: None
      Emulator: NES

I've uploaded a video of my system booting up here if that helps: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxU4BGBVq5eRc3RSc0tQQ1JQSDA/view?usp=sharing

I'm not sure where to go from here, so any help troubleshooting this is appreciated.

      Thanks!

You may have had Parse Gamelists Only on.

It should be in Other Settings.

          @itsnitro

Thanks for the reply. Just curious - what does having that on do? And why would the games play fine for a couple weeks before suddenly disappearing?

That said, is the screenshot you showed the way I should have the settings?

            https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/FAQ#why-does-shut-down-and-reboot-take-ages
Parse Gamelists Only: If on, it will only read the roms you have scraped, so if you add any new roms it will not look for them unless you turn this back off. it is off by default.

And yes, that is how it should be.

As for the games playing fine before disappearing, it could be something automated.
Or you may have went through and changed it by accident.
