@BuZz I have just been reading a few comments on the FUSE sourceforge page about the new v1.5.1 version. Apparently v1.5.0 should work as no display updates were made until v1.5.1. Could we try v1.5.0 from source until it's confirmed working/not working ?

What information is needed between RetroPie and the FUSE devs to get the latest version working again on RetroPie DispmanX ? They asked this here :-

"Could also give us the output from Fuse 1.5.1 with the --sdlfullscreenmode flag set to 'list'?"

        https://sourceforge.net/p/fuse-emulator/bugs/417/

I'm also interested in why some joypads can't use the D-Pad in the FUSE GUI ? I'm using a 8bitdo SF30 Pro and I can only use the Analogue stick to control games/GUI. The d-pad is using Axis like the OP states and can't be configured. Is it the RetroPie team that update the GUI for FUSE ?

@BuZz Not sure if you saw my post above 2 weeks ago, is there any chance to get this looked at as I would like to be up to date with the latest version developments ?

@maxbeanz I saw it. I don't have time currently and it's not a high priority (current version works etc). I will look at it after the new image is out.

Using fresh install of Retropie 4.4. (Only option is build from source). FUSE fails to build.

Probably because someone considered you unnecessarily bumped this topic repeatedly asking the same thing over and over.

Sorry for resurrecting this old topic. I have the latest code (1.5.7) working now with a patch. Will finish it off in next day or two.
