I've recently put the RetroPie Image for Version 4.2 on my Pi 2.
I can't change the resolution of the frontend or the emulators from 1080p to the monitors 720p. I already tried changing it via raspi Config, which didn't affect ES or Emulators and manually editing the config.txt file, which didn't affect them either. I read that it is possible to run ES via terminal in a forced resolution, but that is not on startup obviously. Does anyone know a solution?

The NES emulator plays games at twice the speed of an NES, from other emulators on Windows I've resolved that problem by limiting framerate to 30, I couldn't find a framerate limiting option in the configuration of the emulator, did I simply miss something..?

I already looked through the RetroPie documentation to try and solve this by myself, but couldn't find anything on this.
