Bluetooth Controllers and Issues
-
I can't seem to get my Bluetooth controllers working 100%. What can I do to help developers fix issues with Bluetooth controllers?
Here are the problems I have:
XBox One S Wireless Controller: Select button does not work (keydown/up event for the backspace key instead of a button like normal). Pairing didn't work immediately until I disabled ERTM. Controller does not pair on startup and will not pair if it goes to sleep and I wake it up.
Asus Nexus Gamepad: Home and Back button do not work (start and select).
XBox One Windows Wireless Adapter: Does it even work?
PS3 Controller: Can't use my bluetooth keyboard since it disables normal bluetooth stack.Anyone else have issues with their wireless controllers? List them here. I'd be willing to send my controllers to someone that wants to attempt and fix them. Wired controllers work great, but my kids are tripping over wires.

Hello! I've successfully connected my Xbox One Controller (model 1708) to my Pi3B via bluetooth, had to disable ERTM too. All buttons (including 'select') working. Using RetroPie 4.2
However, when I tried adding in my second Xbox One Controller (same model), It connected and mapped perfectly. When I tried configuring inputs in RetroArch, both controllers and USB keyboard stopped working.
I had to reboot and remove both controllers' BT connection and re-add the first one, it worked fine. Then tried and hooked up the second Xbox One Controller via USB to no avail. Tried it with a PS3 (via USB) worked fine.
Anybody know what's going on? What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!
