Kodi not working after latest Retropie update

Is anybody else experiencing a problem after updating recently?? When I try to load kodi from Ports it goes to the loading screen then straight back to the Ports menu. It was working just 20 mins before Retropie update. I've even tried turning off n on many times and deleting and re-installing kodi... to absolutely no avail, same thing happens.
