Hi all. I've set up my roms so that they will auto save on exiting. This seemed to work at first, but then I realized that my games were only being saved the first time I cleanly exited the game (Start + Select). If a state.auto file for a game already exists in the roms folder then the game wont overwrite the file when exit.

Anyone have any solutions I might be able to try?

I am using a non-overclocked pi 3 with retropie 4.2. I have messed around a bit with the config files and may have bumped a setting along the way. I'm not sure what though.

@meleu Sorry about that. I have updated my post with my pi model and retropie version.

@Mr.-Waffles It seems to be a known bug: https://github.com/libretro/RetroArch/issues/4820

There's a workaround that you can try here: https://github.com/libretro/RetroArch/issues/4820#issuecomment-294326479
