Retropie N64 D-pad as Analog Stick

Hi, I installed the retropie, I loaded roms, and I play in most emulators, but in n64 I have a problem. The problem is that when playing the stick does not work. As a controller I use an "arcade usb puzzle plus" and when moving the stick the game does not react, for example in smash bros the hand does not move.I hope you can help me with this problem.
