Multiple GamepadBlocks connected to the Pi
-
Will you need two USB ports or solder an additional USB port for a 2 block setup on a Pi?
Also does anyone have suggestions for a round low profile toggle switch for use with the PowerBlock?
-
Yes, you need two USB ports: Each GamepadBlock uses a single USB port.
We have made good experiences with the push button at https://www.reichelt.de/Drucktaster-Druckschalter/S-9156-RT/3/index.html?ACTION=3&GROUPID=7586&ARTICLE=44438&START=0&OFFSET=16&SID=92WiEJV6wQATQAAEHV5rE366dd11d23432ffbfb1db7e0f3b28e27&LANGUAGE=EN. The one from Farnell at also looks promising: http://de.farnell.com/multicomp/r13-548dl-05-bg/schalter-push-button-spst-green/dp/1634678.
I do not know about your specific requirements regarding the dimensions.

@riverstorm I'm using these buttons https://www.arcadeoutlet.es/index.php?id_product=14&controller=product&id_lang=1

Ok, thanks for the information. The buttons you guys suggested look better than I had envisioned. I didn't have any specific dimensions but I was more looking for something round so I can drill through the side plate vs. something square which I don't have equipment to do properly. :)
