      Using RetroPie 4.4, Controlblock2, Rpi 3B+, Arcade buttons:

      (1) How do I assign one of the buttons to act as a keyboard "tab" key, so I can access the dipswitches?
      (2) Is there any way I can make pressing one of the buttons execute a script?

      Thank you!

        To answer my questions:

        (1) To access the dipswitches, I mapped a button to "Right Thumb" in the Emulationstation input configuration. It creates this line:

        input_r3_btn = "7"

        in /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch-joypads/"ControlBlock Arcade Gamepad.cfg"

        (2) The only way I found to do it is by using jslisten https://github.com/workinghard/jslisten

          Sorry for the delay on my side.

          I like our solutions!

          Also, a tool like jslisten also came into my mind for your second question.
