      Should the ControlBlock be attached to the Pi before installing the drivers or after? Also if the ControlBlock is attached prior to installing the drivers will I need to attach the power supply to the Block or to the Pi? I'm pretty new to this and don't want to make any irreversible mistakes.

        Yes, the ControlBlock (the PowerBlock as well) should be attached to the Raspberry Pi before installing the drivers.

        The the micro USB power supply must be attached to the ControlBlock (or the PowerBlock, respectively).
