@madmodder123 Sweet, I might have to try that out. I'm in need of a quality controller that isn't too big for small hands. I love my PS3 controllers but they are starting to be inaccurate dpad wise due to age so it's becoming an issue.

I fixed it, just add 4x 4mm (A) washers to each of the analog stick poles (8 total). Now it works great!
        Great upgrade for cheap :)
Plus now with the washers you cannot see the insides when you move the sticks :)

I'd be interested to see some pictures of the final result if you're able.

The replacement sticks have the same size top as the originals, they are just rubberized and look like the original PS4 controller's sticks.

Target is now clearancing these out at $8.98 at most stores. If your store has some in stock, for the price, I think it's worth picking one (or more) up.

Will Emulation Station recognize the share, PS, and large center buttons?

System Config: Retropie 4.4 with full desktop, RPi 3B, 256gb SD, 5v 2.1A 5,200 mAH USB battery. EasyMSX controller mounted with Pimoroni Hyperpixel 4 (non touch). Also running 4.6 on a 4gb Pi 4 serving as my primary desktop computer now.

@victimrlsh Just tested it, they are all recognized except the button "TP" (TouchPad) button that is used on the PS4 to mimic the touchpad being moved (I believe on the PS4 you press the button and then move the stick and it simulates the touch inputs.)

Bit late to the party, but I've just got one of these for Retropie and I really like it. VERY responsive analogue sticks, zero deadzone, and a very nice D pad indeed. I'd been looking at the Retrobit Sega controllers but although they'd fit better with my Mega Pi, I've never been a fan of anything made by them tbh.

Anyway, only thing - I'd like to add some thumbstick caps rather than take it to bits to mod it. Can anyone recommend a set that fits? Would Switch Joycon ones fit? Thanks boffins!

EDIT: NVM, answered my own question. Bought some joycon caps from local Asda, seem to be just fine. Bit tight but seem OK so far.
