@darknior actually gave this a quick spin a few mins ago and its looking good especially with video previews running though like you said its a shame about the memory issues in ES especially when you have many systems installed
Have you try with 130 Mbit VRam ? it is smoother. But not perfect ...
I will try to make a little version. -
Add an alternate Daphne theme :
Add new systems :
- DOS386
- DOS 486
- Dreamcast
- PSP
-
This post is deleted! -
@darknior Said I was mentioned in a post in this thread, but when I got to it, it says the post was deleted. :(
Great looking skins though man. :)
-
An alternate for DOS 486 i prefer to use :
Update Amiga 500 :
- Use now Another World for AMIGA 500.
- Update the text informations.
- And change the logo and add an other to let the choice
Update AMIGA 1200 :

Hi @nj180grados, i working on the spanish translation, and my english level It's not too high. Now i translate the info panels 23/5000 because they do not have much text and a many descriptions (NES, Dreamcast and Arcade). If you want you can collaborate with me and that way it ends before. Here is the issue i opening to colaborate, as requested @darknior : https://github.com/Darknior/RVGM-ES-Theme/issues/1 -
@son_link @nj180grados Thanks guys :D
It is not important ton translate the description 100% same in Spanish. I don't like some of my description write some years ago, and i will take the time to write better version. Like this week i've updated with a real good text the two AMIGA, two MSX and two PC DOS theme :) -
@darknior Any chance you can add the MSU1?
Manufacturer: byuu
Type: Game Enhancement Chip
Generation: Fourth
First Release: September 5, 2010
Media: Flash Cart
Controller: 8 Button Gamepad, Light GunDescription: Designed by byuu to be originally used with the SNES emulator bsnes, MSU1 is an enhancement feature allowing Super Nintendo games to run CD audio and video streaming. This allows for games to make use of redbook audio soundtracks and FMV sequences, much like the SEGA CD. The purpose is to deliver features to match the plans of the original SNES Playstation hardware. Over time, the MSU1 has been made available across several emulators, and also on the SNES itself via the use of the SD2SNES flash cartridges.

@duiz thanks a lot for informations and english description. For manufacturer i will be more accurate, and write "Nintendo, Sony" and like for media, there are CR-Rom first.
Yes i plan to add it later because i don't have time for the moment to work on my MSU1 set. Many many games but not all really excellent, i want to make a selection that have a real interest. If not i prefer to play on the original SNES.
I will try to add it faster. For the moment i'm working on :
- Merge the Spanish translation of @son_link and generate all the INFO files.
- x68000
New background and sprite
Update the computer photo with controler.
- Videopac G7000 new theme (better)
- Atari ST added
- Update all XML files to remove not used controller images.
- Add default image for all the TAGS with a language variable.
- Update almost all description ...
- Add 3 news systems
Supervision not supported yet by Retropie
Commodore Vic20
Commodore PET
- Update many image variant for Logo and Console : Snes, SG-1000, Genesis, 32x, etc ...
For these console & computer images, these logo, i search help if you have some of them i miss.
For exemple i have the 32x on Genesis 1 & 2, same for japanese megadrive, but i only have it on Megadrive 2 for europe.
Thanks- And i began to make a LIGHT VERSION of the theme to make it lighter, using less memory and working better on PI.
All of this at same time take me many time ... i would like to release all of this quickly.
-
@darknior A really great theme ! Thanks for all your hard work.
On Vic 20, if I may give you a suggestion, I'd use Demon Attack, Jelly Monsters or Radar Rat Race art as background as these were the most famous (or "iconic") games on that home computer.
I owned it as a kid ;-) -
@duiz ... sorry i change all you give to me, but i have made some search and for me the console is not MSU1, It's the Super Disc System. With an MSU1 chipset to add FMV and CD-Rom audio support. And i prefer describe the system and his story, not really the emulator to use it.
It's why i made an SDS theme, but i also made some MSU1 logo you can found on the system directory like ever if you want to change.
...
And then :
I use Killer Instinct because i already made this graphic stuff, and a new Killer Instinct MSU1 pack was release last week and it is really fantastic !!!
If i can found some time and stuff, i really dream to release an alternate one with Daemon Crest :p@UDb23 Thanks a lot.
I have search for stuff a little, and i think i can only work on Demon Attack or maybe Radar Rat Racer ...
It's very hard to found what i search if i don't to draw so much ... an image with a good resolution to cut the center Sprite of the theme, and a background that i can let empty of characters. I will try ;)It will be many work for me, but i finally found some good ideas for the 3 default game list : All Games, Favorites, Last Played ;)
I have PUSH a BIG part of all the new stuff on GIT ;)
Now you can try it. -
@darknior Thanks for checking the images. I don't want to create additional work for you.
As it's available on GIT, if I find time, I could try making the Vic20 background myself. If successful I'll submit it to you. -
I got some stuff for Demon Crest here

Hi @darknior
is it normal that under the system retropie the display be like that? thank you
-
@mikozzz No for me it's impossible, i don't understand how is it possible to do it with my skin lol
When i will work on this "system" i will modify my XML to hide many info and make it better.
