Powerblock; Can it switch on and off with Arcade Buttons Combo?
-
I am looking at the Powerblock and want to be able to switch on and off my Bartop using my already in place Arcade Buttons.
So the idea would be if I press the 2 side buttons together it would switch on and then do the same to switch off.
I have joysticks and buttons connected by a XinMo USB controller so can anyone please let me know if this is possible?

@reni10 I don't think that would work with the power block. It required a switch that is on all the time, and arcade buttons are momentary... If you want a power controller that works that way, look into the ATXRasPi or mausberry circuits power controllers. I have all three types (powerblock, mauseberry, and atxraspi). I love the powerblock, don't get me wrong (use it in my SNES conversion), but the atxraspi works the best for momentary switches. You can power it on, reboot, shut it down nicely, and even hold the power button for 10 seconds and drop it incase of lockup. All with one momentary switch.

A future firmware revision of the PowerBlock will support momentary switches. But at the moment the PowerBlock only supports toggle switches.

That would be awesome!! I really prefer the way that the powerblock installs and runs over the other 2! (it would also be awesome if you would integrate that install into retropie-setup as well)

Good idea to integrate the installation into RetroPie! I put this on my to-do list.
