        @rookervik I mean, Erza Scarlet would be the perfect choice. So much variety with all of those different requips to go with that flowing red hair... :D

                PIXEL 1.4

                Ok, I think Pixel is updated and ready to go. Give it a whirl (update theme from setup script) and lemme know of errors.

                Changes over the last 2 weeks:

                • Moved carousel down and added graphic outline. Moved game count below that.
                • Moved Pixel consoles up, slightly, and shrunk them to be fully visible above the carousel.
                • Added a gamelist selection graphic to increase readability.
                • Added support for videos.
                • Added collections.
                • Repositioned flair text and icons to stay separate from each other.
                • Positioned gamelist text to match background.
                • Changed the background color and selected text color of some systems to increase visibility.
                • Simplified the XMLs greatly to make changes easier in the future.

                  Just updated and it's looking great! Will let you know if I run into any problems. Oh does this mean we can't switch back to the old version of Pixel now? for the people who may prefer that version.

                    @andyeatscheese I can't imagine anyone wanting to have a massive white bar across the system select screen. That's the only major change.

                    But no, there's no old version unless you do some github stuff. This is pixel's update to the new ES features.

                      @sergioad Ports section has no description to make room for information on each program. Similar to the RetroPie, System, and Pipplware systems. They are designed to have a gamelist and description meta data.

                            @rookervik awesome job with the update. There was a thread that i found on how to add scroll sounds to pixel and i did all the steps and scroll sounds do indeed work but breaks the theme in some way by altering backrounds and logos. Maybe you know of a way to add scroll sound to this new version?

                              Hi @Rookervik , huge fan of your theme! I have noticed an issue with your very latest update however, on previous versions the image (boxart) would fade and any video would play, but on this latest version the image isn't fading and the video is playing on top of the image - which you can often see behind it.

                              This happens with OMX player enabled or disabled.

                                @sonicsheppard As far as I recall I didn't have video previews working on previous versions. Perhaps you were using a modded version of the theme? I only have a couple of videos to test with so I will take a look at it and see. But as I didn't intend videos to be working in the past, I'm not sure how to get this to look like it "did" in your case.

                                  @rookervik I think you're right! I do seem to rememeber trying a custom one that said it had video enabled a few weeks back just to see what it looked like. I obviously forgot all about it. Sorry about that.

                                    @kneetie Mmm, let's see.

                                    The code for enabling the sound is in the pixel.xml:

                                    <!--<scrollSound>./art/flipper.wav</scrollSound>-->

                                    Change it to :

                                    <scrollSound>./art/flipper.wav</scrollSound>

                                    But you need to put a flipper.wav into the art folder. Whatever sound you want to use. There is not a sound effect included with the theme right now.

                                        @rookervik Man, IT IS AMAZING, for me Pixel + old carbon sounds + Pixel Retropie menu icons + Pixel splash screen + Pixel launching images is the way to go, just LOVE it and I can not stop to scream about that
