      • Hello, guys. I am a newbie for retropie and I am just wondering if ES can support video preview in emulator selection memu.

      For example as the picture below:

      can the picture in red frame replaced by a video? If can't, can ES support this in future?

      I am just a newbie, not sure if it's a silly question. Thanks in advance

        Hi, welcome to the forum!
        It's not a silly question, but alas it's also something that is not currently possible.

        The current implementation of SystemViews in ES only allows the use of a so-called carousel, which is populated with static images.

        There are no plans to change this in the near future that I'm aware of.

        If tetris has thought me anything, it's that errors pile up and that accomplishments dissappear.
