      It'd be cool if you could select a custom music track to play depending on what emulator is highlighted in the Retropie menu.

      Highlight SNES , Super Mario World map music -> Move to MegaDrive, SNES music fades out and begins playing Metal Squad from Thunderforce IV -> etc, etc.

        that would be pretty neat, I think that you would need to play around with the theme.xml and it should work not sure of a another way might try it on the carbon theme and see what happens

          I think that someone might need to make a new variable called background music
          because the only other one that could work is scroll sound or you could make it that when you enter the desired emulator it will play a music through where the snap would play, I am not sure if that works though but I better just start experimenting :)
