Using a momentary v. toggle power switch

Today I realized the power switch must be latching, not momentary. You can see the results in the video.

What I'm wondering is if:

1. The code can be recompiled for a momentary switch and if not,
2. Does anyone have a suggestion for a simple latching circuit that will allow the keyboard RESET key to act as a latching toggle for power?

I suppose I've a third Q:
3. If "no" to both 1 and 2, do you have a suggestion for adding a power switch that will blend with this design? Note: I've already installed the Ethernet port where the original power switch was located.

@suleske I think I answered my own question. If I really want to use the keyboard, then here's an example of how to do #2:
