So I scraped all my roms with Stephen Selphs scrapper for box art, marquees and video, everythings great with them

I recently see how cool the XML universal scrapper does the "tri" image with a screenshot, marquee and box art combined

From what I am gathering is the XML scrapper is that "tri" image is still only just one image romname-image.jpg which is the equivalent of the box art using Stephen Selphs? is that accurate?

now I am thinking of scrapping the image for using XML but will this overwrite my exising video snaps and marquees? or just the exising box art?

Also is there a way I can keep both versions of the romname-image file on the SD card so I can change my mind again and change between standard box art and the "tri" look

@valhalla_pi I did the same thing.. I put my roms on a usb stick and I use xml scraper with win10 (launch the configuration wizard than choose PC). Manually choose the path of the roms (must be .../roms) and launch the scrape with 3 image setting. When it finished you will have the downloaded-images folder inside every roms folder. Now replace this images with the sselph scraper images you have on the raspberry (the files have same name, only change extension from jpg to png, I used a simple pc software for this: Irfanview). If you prefer, move the original images in an other folder instead of replace those so you can keep apart if you want to return to your original config).
The result is 3images preview on Retropie and it is very cool!! Video files remains the same as before no problems! I also modify the theme xml to show boxart (3 images mix in my case) and after 1 sec the video snap.. Amazing!
I hope It helps, despite my bad english!

Yes that makes sense now just move the current downloaded images folder to a new name so the new one doesn’t overwrite

          Thanks
