Dr. Who theme.

Is anyone here going to make a Dr. Who theme. I would like to see one.

@redbatman what’s stopping you? You might have some fun learning how to make a theme.

One idea to get the ball rolling; you could have the various systems appear on the carousel through the front windows of the TARDIS. Also, game information could be viewed on the interior console monitor, or perhaps as entries in River Song's journal.

@mediamogul Looks nice. I have never made a theme before though. Currently in my last two weeks of college for the semester. Maybe I can try it when I have more time. I will try to teach my self later or perhaps someone could give me some pointers, would be appreciated.

@redbatman how I leaned to make mine (PlayStation) was to download a theme that was close to what I was looking for as a feel for the theme. From there I started going into the xml and started looking at it and how it all relates to what’s on screen. Then learned how to move things around and tweak it to my liking. No need to start from scratch.

@redbatman There's should be a tutorial in the docs, also looking at the
themes.md
document (which was linked in the tutorial last time I've looked at it) can be helpful.
And yeah, getting a theme that looks close to what you want and change things is a good way to start. Then you can look at even more themes to understand how to change positions and whatnot.
It might take a while to understand everything but on the other side, there's not that much to learn.
If you have a Windows PC, I also suggest to get the Windows build of EmulationStation, with that you can edit your files and immediately check the changes.
Contributions to the project are always appreciated, so if you would like to support us with a donation you can do so here.
