      @senkun I just used the ones you find after Googling "FBA roms" and they worked in both lr-fba-next and lr-fba. Got the BIOS there too. Hope this helps.

        lr-fba-next is best core for capcom e neo geo games, run street fighter new generation and others.

          Thanks for your help and the hint, yes I have that rom version and bios as well, just to be sure I just tried them once again. No luck, still the same audio issues plus slow 30~40fps. Everything is like slo-mo, more so when a lot of sprites are on screen.

          Trying to figure out where the problem is, I'm testing on a stock rpi3 / Retropie 3.8/ lr-fba-next (tried both v0.2.97.37 and v0.2.97.38), had the same problem on Retropie 3.7 / lr-fba-next v0.2.97.37 as well. When I was trying to suss this out some time back, I even tried it out with the pi oc'ed to 1450, didn't make much of a difference.

          What's your setup like? Stock or perhaps there's something else I'm overlooking? Is everyone else running Demon Front just fine?

            @senkun That's weird. I haven't overclocked and I am running RetroPie 3.7. Make sure you have no shaders on and that Video_Smooth is set to disabled maybe?

              @Charco

              Shaders on or off hardly any difference, video_smooth is always disabled. I have no idea what is wrong, fwiw it runs smoother/faster/better on lr-fba but I'd much prefer just using fba-next. Everything else neo-geo etc., runs perfectly. I had just about given up on this some time back, then you posted ;P

              I might just do a fresh bone stock install of 3.7 and test again with just that one rom and bios this weekend.

                @senkun Yeah that might be a good idea. I'll boot it up again and go into the RGUI and see if I have anything changed in there, not that I recall though.

                  Whelp. No go, same 30~40fps slowmo and stuttering sound.

                  Just to rule out anything else, this was a fresh vanilla 3.7 install on a verified good sdcard in a Pi3, using just lr-fba-next v0.2.97.37 running the dmnfrnt.zip rom with pgm.zip bios (from the googled source). Only thing done was to configure a generic usb controller via retropie, all other settings including rgui at default.

                  Everyone else running IGS PGM's Demon Front at full speed?

                    Yeah @senkun i have retropie on my rpi3 and Demon Front run at full speed.
                    I use dmnfrntpcb with lr-fbalpha emulator.
                    Need dmnfrnt.zip and pgm.zip at the same folder to work !

                      @mikaenes no to all those things, get non-merged dmnfrnt.zip put pgm.zip in bios directory and run with lr-fba
