I was pleasantly surprised to discover that I can play a lot of old-school PC games on the Pi via ScummVM! Besides that, what other PC games can I run well on the Pi?

Going through the optional packages, I noticed so many different PC-running apps(?), like the above mentioned (which I'm running some of the Monkey Island games, as well as the Maniac Mansion games), Ur-Quan Masters, and Cave Story. Anyone have any good suggestions for PC games on the Pi? xnxx xxx

I would suggest Oregon Trail Deluxe via DosBox.

Cave Story is one of the best free games to come out in a long time. Being able to play it on the big 4K TV is absolutely the best.

Ur-Quan Masters is also one of the best games from the 90's and will always be one of my favorites. Two fantastic free games and all you have to do is figure out how to get them to run.

I suppose if you wanted to go truly old-school PC you could get your hands on DOS BOX and run a Commodore 64 emulator for laughs. There's hundreds of old games for that system. With DOS BOX and a little patience you could probably get nearly anything to run.

                Star Wars X-Wing Simulator
                Star Wars TIE Fighter Simulator
                Star Wars X-Wing Alliance
Any AD&D Gold Box series game including the Buck Rogers games

A goofball yet fun game if you can find it was Stratosphere. Fly big floating rocks around covered in cannons and shoot each other until one of the rock "fortresses" collapses and falls thousands of feet to the surface. Hilarious game.
