What famous games have you never ever played?

How is everybody getting banned in this topic?

@simpleethat spam most likely, each account joined yesterday and only has one post

@quicksilver that makes sense

I just began to play iD yesterday. It's on my "must play before I die" list since the 80s when I had a C64, but iD was only available for the ZX Spectrum. ðŸ˜
-
@Clyde well iD sounds pretty interesting
-
@simpleethat Yes, iD does. ;)
I had to solve some obstacles getting keyboard input configured in the Spectrum emulator, though. To have full keyboard access in the game, you have to set the controllers for player 1 and 2 to "none" and for player 3 to "Sinclair Keyboard". But then, the keyboard overlay on "Select" doesn't work anymore. I'll have to look further into this.
Hint: On the Spectrum's keyboard, a question mark is made with Right Alt + C (AltGr + C on a German keyboard). I think you'll need it to ask iD questions. ;)
edit: Ah, I finally found the solution (just mentioning it here to close this up). Set player 1's controller to Cursor Joystick and all of its bindings except for Keyboard Overlay to "---". Then you'll have the overlay on whatever key you set it to, and the rest of the keyboard will work nonetheless.
Hint 2: Press Right Alt + M for a full stop / period.

Chrono Trigger

@WeirdH haha! I've played it but have yet to complete it. It's a pretty good game though

Mother/2/3/Earthbound/Beginnings

@simpleethat I am very much planning to play at some time, because it gets nothing but praise. I never really got the appeal of jrpg's and such when I was younger, but I think I can appreciate them now. Same with Sword of Mana, by the way.
-
Secret of Mana was great! I never played any other "Mana" series games.
(Similarly, I only played Tales of Symphonia in the "Tales" series, but that entry was quality.)

@IanDaemon: I tried playing Earthbound a few years ago. I didn't last very long. I made it through a couple of the first encounters, and I just didn't enjoy it. I considered forcing myself to sit through it, but I've never liked that style of combat in games, so I didn't bother.
@Crush: I've never played a Zelda either. Never had one for the Gameboy, and the next Nintendo I owned was the Wii, so I missed all the stuff in between.

I'd have to put D on the list of games I've owned on multiple game platforms but have never played the idea of no pause no save game just start to finish beat the game in the allotted time or die trying both intrigued and kept me from starting it .
-
Final fantasy. Any of them, I've heard 6 and 7 are good. Tried to play 7 but the game didn't seem to start and had a ton of cutscenes at the beginning so I gave up.
-
@gorgar19 I never finished D either. I had it for my PSX back in the day. It was a very fascinating experience back then, but I got stuck somewhere deep into it. AFAIK, is was after that ridiculously hard sequence with the knight's armour in the pit. Thinking about it, it may well be that I eventually lost any motivation to repeat that sequence again and again just to get to the scenes after it.

Ah yes, that's what I meant.
