      @zerojay

Hi. I've been away from RetroPie for a few years. The repository hasn't been touched in that long and likely should not be used as I can't imagine any of it still works. But I'm back. I just bought a Pi4 a few days ago. No promises but I'll try to find time to get stuff back up and running again.

you will be suprised on what still works. i still install RetroPie-Extras on all my builds. most that i want to use still works just fine, but im sure most of it has updates

      RPi3B+ / 200GB/ RetroPie v4.5.14, RPi4 Model B 4gb / 256gb / RetroPie 4.8.2
      RPi5 4gb / 512gb / RetroPie 4.8.9 -Basic
      Maintainer of RetroPie-Extra .

I have no idea what you are asking.

I am a noob and I don't know how to install Beebem in my Retropie from your experimental repository. ie what commands and parameters should I use. I asked in this forum but I didn't get any answer. Can you help? Thanks in advance!

@Lord-Vek The instructions for how to use the repository are in the readme in the repository, which is displayed when you go to it on Github.

                You mean here:
                https://github.com/zerojay?

The standalone beebem or the script inside the RetroPie-Extra-unstable/scriptmodules/emulators?

I made a try for the standalone beebem. I used the command sudo ./configure --prefix=$HOME/test --enable-econet

There is some activity... Then I get this message:

*** Could not run GTK+ test program, checking why...
*** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file config.log for the
*** exact error that occured. This usually means GTK+ is incorrectly installed.
                  configure: error: mypkgname 0.1 needs GTK+ 2.2.0

                  What should I do?

Thanks for the answer. I will try to install it tomorrow if I find the time.

I am sorry to bother you, but I don't see the beebem in your link's repository. Help?

It looks like I moved it into the unstable repository (https://github.com/zerojay/RetroPie-Extra-unstable) as it wasn't working as hoped. More info in the repository's README. I haven't touched it in ages so I don't know what state it is in right now.

Yes, that was my question at the beginning. I asked how can I install something from that repository. What commands should I use from the Retropie, to install beebem. Can you please help me, because I am a noob?
