Remove emulator choice for ROM after updating an emulator
-
It may be the case where you update an emulator and it may has changed its name. So if you previously had selected one specific emulator and it doesn't exist anymore, you have to be careful to go in the runcommand and select Remove emulator choice for ROM or it would crash and you "wouldn't know" why.
I suggest that after updating an emulator from the RetroPie-Setup -> Manage packages -> "package in particular" -> Update from source to apply the Remove emulator choice for ROM option directly.

This should be handled automatically - via the
renameModule
function in the scriptmodule. See for instance here.
