I really like the ES front-end interface. But his search game function is not perfect. I am a Chinese player, so my game list is in Chinese. For example: I want to search for The Three Kingdoms, then I want to input: SGJZ through Chinese Pinyin, but it has no effect.

How are you accessing the 'Search Game' dialogue ? I don't remember having seen this in EmulationStation.

@jan_l In my American version of EmulationStation (v2.9.3), when I press "Select" in a game list I get the "Jump (to a letter)" functionality. This doesn't take me to a specific game. That functionality takes me to the games that begin with a specific letter. "D" for example. It doesn't take me directly to "Donkey Kong 3" . In your example it should take you the games that begin with "T".

Am I in the right place?

@iandaemon I think that won't work if the ROM names have non-latin characters, the 'Jump to ' will not show those.
@jan_L what version of EmulationStation are you using ?
