Sorry for the delay guys. I fixed it and the game actually works. This is what you have to do.

SSH/Putty to your Pi or plug a keyboard and press F4 to get local command prompt.

      cd /opt/retropie/emulators

      sudo mv drastic drastic.old

      sudo wget https://github.com/Retro-Arena/binaries/raw/master/odroid-xu4/drastic.tar.gz

      sudo tar -xvf drastic.tar.gz

ls -lah (validate file/folders are in place, just make sure you see folder called "drastic")

      sudo reboot

Just to understand we have downloaded Drastic version 2.5.0.4 which has only released for Odroid and for good luck it is working on retropie too!!!! The latest release for retropie was 2.5.0.3. With the new update 2.5.0.4 seems to bypass the microphone problem.

I know It's an old topic, but I see developpement

Now, in Drastic, We are supose to be able to generate static noises in settings.

          see : https://www.drastic-ds.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=13037&p=31344&hilit=retropie+mic#p31344

I agree with the other guy, where is this option? Is It in a newer version? Does somebody are able to do that on Retropie?

Last release is 2.5.1.1a. Is It tested or compatible with Retropie?

@dteam DraStic is mainly developed for Android devices, the RPI version is rarely updated by the developer(s) and it's just at version r2.5.0.4.

For 2.5.0.4 It was for Odroid but It works for Pi according soulfunkydjx comment:

Could It be the same thing for 2.5.1.1a 2.5.2.2a?

Is there a 2.5.1.1a version released for ARM devices (RPI/Odroid compatible, non-Android) available ?

I don't know, I'll investigate It on Drastic forum and DraStic Beta group.
I found that and I ask questions on Drastic Beta group and I'm waiting
                  https://drastic-ds.com/viewtopic.php?t=8073

They say: Also expect updates for Linux and Windows PC builds at some point.

                  Update good news

Yes its still in progress, its decided that the open source fork will be a Retroarch core so that users on multiple systems and not just phones can play it. Wed Jan 13, 2021 4:20 am

I'm trying to use a USB Mic and It's not working.
Retropie seems to recognize It. I'm running Pi4 with the Headphone because I built my own handheld console and I used the headphone jack for speaker output. When I go in Drastic (Zelda - Spirit Tracks) , the Microphone doesn't work. Do I havec to select specific audio card or audio device ? PS4 mic also doesn't work.

@dteam I don't think mic functionality is built into the version of drastic that is available on the pi.

Thanks, It's what was I thought. This post misleads people. In the next version, they probably add a static noise. I hope....
