Because of Zenjiro's video, these things are becoming addicting. I tried a few different variations. Perhaps one of these will work?

@mrseven Not sure what you mean by the "Overlay." Are you talking about something for GIMP or something for EmulationStation.
Or are you talking about the Overlays that are used in projects like Retroarch? I typically use what is available on the BezelProject or on Screenscraper using the Skraper program or just manually pulling off the site.
@kcoconnor76 If I get around to it I can try and whip something together. No ETA on it. I will post it here when I get around to it.
I was thinking of a newsprint overlay for the comic instead of a newsprint filter. Like the dot matrix used for the logos. I was curious to see how one would work over all the screenshots and then the comic border as the top layer. It still would change anything on the black areas though.

@zenjiro appreciate it. I had thought about that as well. I wanted to put the eyes in there as well but they don't look good unless they are are on a black background

See here for systems list : Request for artists working on themes - needs for (lr-mess/MAME) additions . All those systems working well with lr-Mess / Mame standalone but are not supported by official themes. Sadly, they are orphelins !!We are working ( @folly, @valerino, @dteam) on the development of module-script generator for lr-mess and mame standalone. Now, It's a pretty mature process and We would like to know if some artists who are working on themes are interested to work on some systems and added those to their themes. Here, we are focusing on handheld systems and some keyboardless consoles.

@dteam Thanks! All credit goes to Zenjiro for making a video explaining how he created his comic logos and I kind of went from there. An artist I am not but I do have fun making these logos and trying to figure things out. I might have a crack at some you are needing when I'm done with the ones I want to make. Coincidentally, I was working on an Arcadia one and a few posts up, there is an Astrocade logo I posted but here is a slightly different variation:

@mrseven Thanks for Emerson Arcadia 2001! As a kid, I owned one of the regional re-branded models named Tele-Fever. So, I'm a little bit emotionally attached to this machine. ☺️

You're very welcome. I still have mine hooked up in the retro game room. I only have seven games for it because as with everything video game related, they are getting expensive.

For less common systems listed on Request for artists working on themes - needs for (lr-mess/MAME) additions, you can go to my gamelist.xml / personal media here. They are not yet offered by sites like ScreenScraper. You can take screenshots of mp4 video games for your comics.
For uncommon logos, if you don't want to go on Google, you can use mine as a basis in my theme (Cygnus_modified)
