I've made a Monkey Island 2 theme :)

I decided to make a Monkey Island 2 theme, from scratch. Here's a video of it (with custom splash video at the start):

I've set it up so that as you run through the systems alphabetically, you move around 4 different global background images - maps of Scabb, Phatt, Booty, and Dinky islands - in roughly the order that you do when playing MI2. The positions of the system names on the map backgrounds correspond to the images on the related system page as you'd find them in the game too, as do the items in the inventory that are seen in the system background images.

The underlying code is edited from that of the great 'Nostalgic' theme by SuperMagicom.

If you download it please do check the READ ME file, as it details what settings to use in Retropie to get the best from the theme.

I've also made a custom splash video (as seen in the video linked above), and also a 'launching' image and video for those who want a completely customised experience and already know how to configure them 🙂

@mpnuttall i never played Monkey Island 2 but i have seen enough to know about it. either way. that is amazing work you have done there.

for a second there i was sad there was no video snaps, but once i saw the layout. they would look very out of place i think. so good call there
