I wanted to use a new theme. There was a theme I liked on the Batocera side, and I tried to install it, but it failed.

I tried to change the code of the theme directly, but I confirmed that the functionality was not supported in RetroPie's EmulationStation.

If you look at https://github.com/protozoo-es/EmulationStation/blob/master/THEMES.md and https://github.com/christianhaitian/EmulationStation-fcamod/blob/master/THEMES.md, there are functional differences, such as imageSizeMode and menuText & menuTextSmall.

What has been confirmed is the theme-related part, but it is expected that the improvement of these functions can also play a role in improving the user experience as a result.

So finally, I want to ask you the following. Can improvements such as the expansion of the theme function of Emulation Station be considered?

The sentence may be awkward using a translator, but thank you for reading it.

      thank you.

You may want to mention which theme you've tried to install ?

@mitu I tried to install the RetroFix theme
It was confirmed that the function of the theme was not supported normally.

First, the system does not seem to support video output and path {random}.

Second, since the minimum size of the image cannot be specified in the grid view, the size ratio of the image is not constant. Moving the selection cursor changes the size of the selected ones, but I hope to ensure a consistent size from the beginning.

          There are other minor issues.
