HDMI to DVI or S-video
-
Hello!
I'm starting to gathering what I need for a bartop, and tommorow I'll get a SyncMaster 214T.
It has DVI / s-video / composite input.
Native res : 1600x1200What is the best input to user, in term of images and in term of input lag? HDMI to DVI with shaders, or s-video 240p?

@mike855 If the DVI port is DVI-D then that would be the best since it won't require a signal conversion.

@Darksavior yes that is a DVI-D. Thanks you.
I was thinking later in 240P I can't have scanlines plus monitor will not be at its native resolution, bad for input lag -
@mike855 The pi can output composite if you want to use that. It won't improve the input lag, though. You can check if your monitor has a game mode of some kind to improve input lag.
I found an old post of someone mentioning to not use that monitor due to high input lag https://hardforum.com/threads/samsung-214t-or-samsung-204b.1052641/
