      The libretro core for Fairchild ChannelF is already included in RetroPie.

        @mitu My apologies. I cannot find it in the Docs.

          I have begun work on adding Fairchild to the docs. However I need to know how to add the system to retropie. Do you know of any guide to instruct me on this?

            Like any other emulator/port, you just install it and the system will be added in EmulationStation.

              And add at least 1 rom to the folder

                What emulator do I need to install? It’s not in the docs so I don’t know which.

                  @Unknown looks like these 2:

                  $ grep -rnie "addsystem" ~/RetroPie-Setup/scriptmodules/ | grep "channelf"
                  /home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/scriptmodules/libretrocores/lr-fbneo.sh:93:    addSystem "channelf"
                  /home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/scriptmodules/libretrocores/lr-freechaf.sh:42:    addSystem "channelf"

                    @Unknown make sure to read https://docs.libretro.com/library/fbneo/ if you intend to use FBNeo for console emulation.

                        I have now created a pull request to add it to the docs.

                            @Unknown while ~/RetroPie/BIOS/channelf.zip is not wrong, this is actually the 2nd fallback path. The core will prioritize bios found at ~/RetroPie/roms/channelf/channelf.zip then ~/RetroPie/BIOS/fbneo/channelf.zip

                              I've mentioned the fbneo sub-folder being also read for BIOS files in https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Fairchild-ChannelF/#bios.
