The Organe Pi SBCs are not supported, but I think there's a RetroPie fork that has support for some of them - RetrOrangePi ?

      Yes you are correct http://www.retrorangepi.org/

@nanocbear you will have to go over there and see what they have going,

      RPi3B+ / 200GB/ RetroPie v4.5.14, RPi4 Model B 4gb / 256gb / RetroPie 4.8.2
      RPi5 4gb / 512gb / RetroPie 4.8.9 -Basic
      Maintainer of RetroPie-Extra .

I believe the OP already knows that -

All the posts for the Orangepi seem to be very old.

Unfortunately the RetrOrangePi scene dropped off a cliff. It was basically one guy anyway. I have one that I have kept on an old version (because it works) from a few years ago and things really haven't progressed since. The ROPI forum is basically a ghost town.

I think Lakka support this hardware but It doesn't have the plethora of settings and emulators that the RetroPie has.

My English isn't at a good level.

Maybe the new Orange Pi 800 and upcoming Orange Pi 5 may have an affect on that. They both look impressive. Much may depend on how easy they will be to get hold of...

            Currently running:
Retropie 4.8.9 on a Pi Zero 2W (Overclock Settings: CPU 1400Mhz)
            ES-DE on a GMKtec K6 (Windows 11, 32GB RAM)

@George-Spiggott Pre-orders have started for the Orange Pi 5. Looks like an interesting piece of kit.

I do have to wonder why they released the Orange Pi 800 so recently with the older spec rather than the spec of this.

              Currently running:
Retropie 4.8.9 on a Pi Zero 2W (Overclock Settings: CPU 1400Mhz)
              ES-DE on a GMKtec K6 (Windows 11, 32GB RAM)

@gleam2003 or could someone please help me. I've got image Retropie for OrangePI 4 LTS, put it to SD-card. My Orange pi 800 started with this SD-card, everything worked fine, but video enabled only thru HDMI port. MY old CRT display didn't started with vga port, however CRT display works on the other oficial images sach as Ubuntu, OS droid, Manjaro. How to enable vga port in Retropie?

I don't know, since RetrOrangePi is not a RetroPie project and I'm not familiar with it. Perhaps try asking in their support forums/channels ?

@stoogesfan87 I don't know - look up their site. They may have forums, IRC, etc.
