      Sorry for all the comments lately, I finally have my Pi 5 up and running!

      I just wanted to get some clarify on Amiga confusion.
      I remember in the 90s that Amiga had like half a dozen systems

      Like the 100, 600, 1200, CDTV, CD32, etc etc.. but some were just the same chip set repackaged and renamed?

      So what Emulator would I want to cover all my bases?
      So I can play the most Amiga games, across all their releases, including the horrible CD games like the town with no name.

      I am currently have Amiberry installed!

      Thank you!

        Amiberry should handle most of them automatically. Are you having some troubles with it? There were a few I had to set manually to make them work right, or at all, so my emulators.cfg has a few entries like:

        amiga_AnotherWorld_v28_0425 = "amiberry-a1200"
        amiga_ItCameFromTheDesert_v21_0014 = "amiberry-a4000"
        amiga_Zool_v20_CD32 = "amiberry-a4000"

        But there are still more that work just fine from the start, like:

         BrutalFootball_v1.21_0209.lha
         BrutalFootball_v1.21_CD32.lha

         ChaosEngine_v2.1_0106.lha
         ChaosEngine_v2.1_CD32.lha

         JamesPond2_v1.3_1352.lha
         JamesPond2_v2.0_AGA_1354.lha

        ...all of these work both versions, without any additional setups or configs.

          Nope, just was setting things up last night.. finally got the RetroPi 5 running.

          Right now I seem to only have discs, and no cds though.

          Seems very slow to boot.
          I tried Willy Beamish last night, went into a GUI then started the game.
          No controller functionality, but since it's a Point and Click, that's probably the reason...

            Odd question
            For CD games, can I have them in a separate folder?
            Should I run them zipped or unzipped?

            Trying to add some organization.

            I'm also used to ODEs for my consoles, some require each CD game to be in a separate folder, so just checking what's needed here/

              @Jiryn CD games will run as .CHD in Amiberry. That's the best format to run them in IMO. I wouldn't bother with a seperate folder just put them all in the Amiga ROMs folder..

              Currently running:
              Retropie 4.8.9 on a Pi Zero 2W (Overclock Settings: CPU 1400Mhz)
              ES-DE on a GMKtec K6 (Windows 11, 32GB RAM)

                All of mine are .lha format whether CD32, AGA, or "original flavor".

                You can put them in a sub-folder if you want (roms/amiga/cd32). If you want a completely separate folder (roms/amiga separate from roms/cd32 you'll need a custom system as well as a supporting theme.

                  That's what I was wondering, if Subfolders would be recognized.

                  Wondering if I should do that with like MAME/FBNeo though the select button does help scroll through games fast.
