@xxghostbusterxx Also, don't expect to ever get Rouge Squadron working nicely. Factor 5 used some serious programming Kung Fu when they designed Rouge Squadron so most N64 emulators have serious problems running this one.

Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back work on ADVMame (Advance MAME). Use the mouse to control (and reverse the controls in the Analogue menu).

            Wow, I got some results:

Sega 32X - it does work!
Star Wars Arcade - works on AvMame 1.4 but getting controls to work will be tough.

            Thanks for the advice.

I just want to play 'Turkish Star Wars: The Arcade Game'. Oddly, it'll only work on a Coleco Gemini.

This Indy game maker made a couple simple to use fun to play x-wing type fighter games. Granted right now they only work on a PC but they are free. They are pretty old but still fun. I'd bet if ported over to the pie they would work fine not that I wold know though. Maybe if we all asked him nicely ?

@drake999 It's not you, it's something with the packages for the retropie... I installed Raspbian and did the manual install of 4.1 and retropie works great! However, I like the op, cannot seem to get this one game working properly! What are the odds you can tell us where you got star wars arcade 32x?

Star Wars arcade (vector graphics) works surprisingly well on Mame4All with a PS3 stick. It only took minor tweaking in the analog controls setup (just to make the stick less sensitive).

However, I failed at every attempt to flip the y axis, so it has to be played airplane style (which some prefer anyway).

Just recently found out that in Sengoku Ace, there's clearly an (absolutely unofficial) X-wing you can fly !!

Quite crazy game, there's even some almost NSFW graphics the intro. Seems busty girls always help sales, even for a shmup.

@Elterrible The USA version of SW arcade works. The Europe version hangs at start and does not seem to work.

@wolfgangrumpf are you trying to run the cd or the floppy version? Explain what you did do.

@akafox it sucks it isn't playable on the pi since it isnt dos or windows 3.1. Lots of dos star wars games though. I bought all of them on disc and floppy except the original star wars which was on a 5.25" floppy. I would download the unreleased super star wars as well for dos.
