NVIDIA Shield TV Alternative?

Does anyone know of a RetroPie alternative for Android, specifically for Android TV and the Shield TV?
The fact that this system is the same hardware that's in the new Nintendo Switch should mean it can handle other emulators with ease compared to what's out there now. I did come across Gamesome, but thought I'd see if anyone else had thoughts on how to play my favorite emulators. -
I think Gamesome is pretty much the go to for Android. This is the video that turned me on to it:
I would love to build something like this using a Pi3.
