      Super Mario World (Super Famicom)
I'm still trying to find all of the secrets.

      Popful Mail (Sega CD)
The cut scenes and dialogue are a bit cheesy, but I'm really liking how it's similar to Zelda II in that it's got platforming with some RPG/Adventure stuff in the mix

Kaizou Choujin Shubibinman 3: Ikai no Princess (PC Engine CD)
After beating Kaizou Choujin Shubibinman Zero (Super Famicom) a few weeks ago I discovered that there were other games in the series. This one has the hero using a sword instead of punching enemies.

I'm still working on Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands and I even got it working with Moonlight without using Steam. This game is on Uplay.

Here is my script (I am already paired with my PC):

        #!/bin/bash
moonlight stream -mapping /opt/retropie/configs/moonlight/xbox360.map -app "Ghost Recon® Wildlands"

@dankcushions Bloody hell, Hyper Light Drifter does look amazing.

I just started playing Beneath A Steel Sky on ScummVM today. Judging by the art style and tone, I think I'm going to like this game. I've been wanting to get back into the old adventure games, but I thought I'd try one I hadn't played before, rather than just playing Full Throttle or one of the Monkey Island games for the nth time.

My ES themes: MetaPixel | Spare | Io | Indent

Super Mario World-i'm really savouring this one at the moment. I'm taking my time to get all the Dragon coins, doing everything properly. I've just got to Bowsers Castle so all the regular levels are complete, but before I take him on, I'm going to attack the Star Road levels before I then do the 'Special' levels. I'm loathed to complete it properly though as I hate the colour palette afterwards! I am intrigued though-you've obviously been playing this for years-you mention secrets, I feel like I'm missing something... To what secrets are you referring?

@dankcushions Hyper Light Drifter looks incredible... That closing shot of him round the fire in the rain adds real depth and personality, and thats just the trailer!

              FBA: Giga-Wing
              SNES: Super Bomberman

              That should keep me busy.

You're not really missing anything. I just haven't played it all the way through since the 90s.

Mainly, Stunt Car Racer on the Amiga, one of the greatest games ever, was almost delighted to see 'Stunt Tracks' in GTA V online, until you realise, no one attempts to actually race, sure 'Rubbing is Racing' but no attempt to brake or take a corner is not racing.

I've been hooked on Sunset Riders for SNES. I can't seem to put the controllers down. My nephews come over and all they want to play is any of the MetalSlug games on NEO-GEO.

What I find remarkable is the playability these games have at their age. I was playing Super Mario Kart last night (add it to my list above!), and I was engrossed, as I am Super Mario World-infact most older games that I play. But considering some of these are 20+ years old, some have really stood the test of time, and it kind of hit home last night-i'm getting so much enjoyment out of this, and it's quite impressive given it's age. Retro FTW!

Besides Zed Blade for the MAME ROW #25, I'm playing (actually trying to find sometime to play) and earn some cheevos for F-Zero - GP Legend (Game Boy Advance).

By the way, talking about achievements, what I really would like to achieve is to beat Battletoads (NES) in hardcore mode (no savestates). But I think I will only have time to achieve this when I retire. I hope most of you are still around so I can tell this to some other old fart. :)

@meleu: Imagine all the old people, playing Street Fighter instead of Scrabble in the living room of the retirement home. :-)

                            ...with XXL-size controllers on a 190" screen...

It's not that far away for me, thats for sure...

@SutterKane and playing Super Mario World/Donkey Kong Country on mobile devices instead of doing crosswords... :)
