I picked up a ControlBlock Rev. 2.x for my Retropie build, when I tried to install the drivers using 'Retropie-setup>Manage driver packages' it didn't seem to recognize it (I assume the drivers were for the Rev 1.x model?) so I had to install them manually. If I update 'all installed packages' will it update the Rev 2.x drivers or will I need to do it manually? Thanks in advance.

@x5PUDx Did you have a previous old installation of the ControlBlock driver? Or is this a first time installation?

I installed mine 3 weeks ago manually using the instruction at https://github.com/petrockblog/ControlBlockService2#configuration (if you scroll down on that site you will see the latest instruction for installation, a much easier instruction than what I did). It worked well for me. I did not use 'Retropie-setup>Manage driver packages' so I cannot answer your question on that issue.

@ortsac It was technically a first time installation, I installed from Manage Driver Packages but it wouldn't work so I uninstalled and installed it manually.

@ortsac The manual install worked fine, I'm just wondering if I'm safe to update the system via "update all installed packages" without it messing anything up.

@x5PUDx If you already have the latest Retropie version build, then doing an update using "update all installed packages" should not mess up anything.
