I was wondering how many people out there actually use the "basic" view of a theme?
Is it necessary to have a basic view in a theme?

Most themes just have a simple list as basic view, some themes however use the same layout as the detailed view but add a "no image" spacer in place.

@FlyingTomahawk Basic view is required for the first time you power up your pi and start putting roms and scraped images on. If you don't have a basic view, nothing will show up until you scrape for data. Not sure how many people use their system without scraping for data, but the basic view is definitely needed.

@TMNTturtlguy & @FlyingTomahawk Yeah, it's the default for ES. AFAIK. It's definitely needed, just as a base.

@TMNTturtlguy I only scrape for images as I'm no fan of metadata.

@FlyingTomahawk i only use basic view. I have way too much stuff, that if i tried to scrape everything, the pi would probably blow up. Well, i would at least have a white screen of death or the worlds worst lag.
