Tetris - Music

No matter what Tetris ROM I get, I can't get that well known Tetris music within the game. It's weird! Was this never released and wa only in the UK or something?

What system? What region? Which Tetris?
The original Gameboy pack-in Tetris for the UK?
Which emulator?

Also is the ROM the US version or the UK version (or Jap version)?

@backstander It's a multi I think, was the only one on emu.

I don't think it matters which emulator you use it on, any 'type' music I select in the menu of the game doesn't have that classic well known theme.

I think you have a Tetris ROM in version 1.0
That's a rare one. On the start screen there should be a slight difference between v1.0 and v1.1

I used google and I was correct with my suggestion :)

Probably, yes. There are multiple versions of this same game. Try the most "recent" version you can find.

@jay81uk It seems that you need version 1.0 for the special song. I've got that rom after you posted that thread, but I had to visit several sites to get that.
