      Im wondering had anyone notice
That some rpi 3 board arnt perfect lol ;p by that i mean well i have bought a rpi 3 it was brand new since i had to take it out of this static electricity bag that was sealed but i noticed the micro USB where the power goes is sitting slighly croaked on the board it does work it also fits nicely in a case its Just the micro USB is not sitting completely straight on the board wonder if anyone noticed this?
Im not to worried since its pretty secure and it works and its only off by like a a mm or so but you can def tell that its not straight..
Dont get it its brand new came sealed it had to be the way this one is build..

Anyway i still love the thing

I had one come with a slightly misaligned HDMI port, so I know what you mean. I think they are produced so quickly, and sell so fast that little issues like that do not concern the testers. The HDMI cord sat in the port crooked, but it worked fine. Didn't matter much anyway because I turned that one into a headless VPN router.

There are 2 different companies that produce them, the ones from Element14 are apparently built to higher quality standards with better components. I've heard this from many sources online.

Yeah my power port is slighly misaligned its ok i do use it as my main emulationstation since ive only got one pi but it works and its on there tightly so not like it will break having alot of fun with the oleskool games tho.
Ill upgrade it whenever a newer version or rpi 4 gets released

@capeman Yeah I heard the same thing. I guess its a coin flip when you order, lol. I order mine from Amazon in a kit most of the time.

@retrofreak89 Yeah I guess as long as it works thats the main thing. For $35 I wouldn't expect perfection, but I would expect it to at least run stably, lol.

It's not a coin flip if you order from Element14.com

Mass production does not always provide for Quality control.

I think it's bound to happen from time to time, especially when you're mass producing these things.
