How to run Raspberry Pi on RF with Playstation RF cable

so the playstation's actually use the composite red white and yellow for rf. they convert the composite to rf. to do so it has a 5v wire that runs to the rf box on the rf cable. i have a playstation 1 raspberry pi and i made the original port functional by wiring the red, white, yellow and 5v internally to the video port. you can cut off the connector on the end and wire up to it for any system you set up. you cannot use the 3.3v on the gpio. it is not enough power and there is a lot of distortion. here is a picture of my pi-station 1 running rf. looks pretty darn good for running on an lcd.

This small component has pins for composite video/sound input and a 5v line that only draws 35ma when in operation. This can easily be wired to a pi via the test pads on the bottom and the 5v gpio for a fully modulated raspberry pi. I have 3 of these sitting around for a project where im going to integrate a pi directly into a CRT so old it only has RF input.

@capeman But i might want to question if you plan on running your Pi via RF to your LCD on a regular basis, because RF to HDTV sssssssuuuuuuuuuuucccckkkkksssss hahahaha!

@capeman yes it does suuuuuck. i dont have a crt tv so i had to use my lcd to test. what is nice about testing on an lcd though is you can see if there is any interferance really easy. there is the slight ghosting as to be expected from running on an lcd but you can see that there is no scrolling diagonal lines.
