@Clyde Here in the U.S. one of the major television networks ran a series of Public Service Announcements about various topics back in the 90s (I think). It was a way to raise awareness about topics before we had all of this social media stuff now.

Each one was a pretty short blurb about the issue that was less than the length of a typical TV advertisement. They were performed by several Hollywood celebrities but they always ended with the title phrase and logo seen above.

I think the main joke here is their choice of phrase might seem odd. "The more you know...." then what? Can a single person take action? It's almost like now you know simply for the sake of knowing about something. Hence the double phrase I guess.
