@deltax5 said in Anyone use Lukka? does that have that Run-Ahead Latency Reduction since it's on retroarch?:
ohh i thought it ran on emualtionstation or is that the theme basically?
Emulation Station is a launcher for various software. RetroArch is just one of the many pieces of software that it launches.
Just want to know if lukka has Run-Ahead Latency Reduction.
The Runahead feature can be set in RetroArch on RetroPie, as well as Lakka. Due to RetroPie's unique implementation and installation of RetroArch's component pieces, there are only minor features not supported that can be found in other RetroArch installs such as Lakka. However, these features are few and far between. The ability to use Netplay lobbies to automatically connect remote users comes to mind, but it's likely one or two other examples exist as well.
If it's in i hope someone makes a profile for all the games so we don't have to set it up every time.
The only universal setting for Runahead that is safe across the board is one frame, with the exception of the Atari 2600, which games don't have any inherent latency. There was talk on the RetroArch forums about creating an automated system for setting games individually, but I'm not sure where they landed on that.
